FAQ

QUINCEAÑERA PHOTOGRAPHY

When should we book a quinceañera photography session?
We recommend booking as early as possible, especially if you are interested in a popular date, specific location, custom styling, or a complete quinceañera experience. Booking early gives us more time to plan the vision, wardrobe, locations, and overall look of the session.
What is included in a quinceañera photography experience?
Inclusions vary by package. Depending on the experience selected, your package may include professional photography, hair and makeup, wardrobe options, styling assistance, location planning, professionally edited digital images, albums, wall art, and other printed products.
Do you provide quinceañera dresses?
Some of our experiences may include access to gowns, specialty dresses, crowns, jewelry, or styling pieces. Available wardrobe options depend on the package selected, sizing, availability, and the creative direction of the session.
Can we bring our own dress?
Yes. Clients are welcome to bring their own quinceañera gown, accessories, shoes, or sentimental items. We will help incorporate them into the session.
Is professional hair and makeup available?
Yes. Professional hair and makeup may be included in select packages or added to your experience. We recommend professional styling because it helps create a polished and cohesive final result.
Can parents or family members be included?
Yes. Family portraits may be included depending on the selected package and session timeline. Please let us know in advance who you would like photographed so we can plan accordingly.
Can we use more than one location?
Some packages allow for multiple locations. The number of locations will depend on the package, travel distance, session length, permits, and available time.
Are location fees included?
Location entrance fees, photography permits, parking, valet, and other venue-related expenses may not be included unless specifically stated in your package.
What happens if it rains?
Outdoor sessions may be rescheduled when weather conditions make it unsafe or impossible to photograph. Light clouds and overcast skies do not always require rescheduling. Final decisions are made based on safety, lighting, and location conditions.
How long does the session take?
Session length depends on the package, number of looks, locations, and styling involved. More elaborate experiences require additional time for wardrobe changes, hair and makeup adjustments, travel, and setup.
How many images will we receive?
You will receive all of the final edited images selected from your session. Duplicate images, test shots, missed expressions, and technically unsuitable images are removed before delivery.
How long does editing take?
Turnaround time varies depending on the season, package, album design, and number of images. An estimated delivery timeline will be provided as part of the booking process.
Can we order albums and wall art?
Yes. Albums, enlargements, wall art, magazines, prints, and other products may be included in select packages or ordered separately.
Can we choose the images for the album?
Yes. The image-selection and album-design process will be explained after the session. Design revisions may be limited depending on the package.
Are payment plans available?
Payment arrangements may be available depending on the package and how far in advance the session is booked. The final balance must be paid according to the terms of the agreement.
Is the retainer refundable?
Retainers secure your date and are generally nonrefundable. Rescheduling and cancellation policies are outlined in the photography agreement.
How do we reserve a date?
A date is officially reserved once the required agreement is signed and the retainer has been received. Dates cannot be held without both.

MATERNITY PHOTOGRAPHY

When is the best time to schedule maternity photos?
Most maternity sessions are photographed between approximately 28 and 34 weeks of pregnancy. The ideal timing depends on how you are feeling, your pregnancy, and the style of session you would like.
When should I book?
We recommend booking during the second trimester whenever possible. This allows enough time to plan wardrobe, styling, hair and makeup, and the location or studio setup.
Where do maternity sessions take place?
Maternity sessions may take place in the studio, outdoors, in the client’s home, or at another approved location. Available options depend on the package, weather, permits, and creative direction.
Is professional hair and makeup available?
Yes. Professional hair and makeup may be included in select maternity experiences or added separately. Professional styling helps create a polished look and can make the session feel more relaxing and luxurious.
Do you provide maternity gowns or wardrobe?
A selection of gowns, fabrics, dresses, or styling pieces may be available depending on the session and package. Availability is based on sizing, fit, condition, and the desired concept.
Can I bring my own outfits?
Yes. You are welcome to bring your own clothing, accessories, sentimental items, or personal wardrobe pieces. We can help you choose options that photograph beautifully.
Can my partner be included?
Yes. Partners may be included in select portions of the session. Please let us know in advance so we can plan coordinating wardrobe and posing.
Can my children be included?
Yes. Children may be included depending on the selected package and session plan. Because young children may need additional time and flexibility, family participation should be discussed before the session.
Can I include pets?
Pets may be allowed at certain outdoor or in-home sessions. Studio participation and location rules vary, so approval is required in advance.
I do not know how to pose. Will you guide me?
Absolutely. You will receive direction throughout the session for posing, hands, posture, facial expressions, movement, and body positioning. No modeling experience is necessary.
Can you photograph stretch marks, scars, or other areas I feel insecure about?
Yes. We use thoughtful posing, lighting, wardrobe, and professional retouching to create flattering portraits while keeping you recognizable and natural.
How long does a maternity session take?
Session length depends on the package, number of looks, location, family participation, and styling. Additional time may be needed for wardrobe changes or breaks.
How many images will I receive?
You will receive all of the final edited images selected from your session. Duplicate images, test shots, missed expressions, and technically unsuitable images are removed before delivery.
What happens if I need to reschedule?
We understand that pregnancy can be unpredictable. Rescheduling is handled according to availability and the terms of the photography agreement. Please communicate any medical concerns or changes as soon as possible.
What if the baby arrives before the session?
Please contact us as soon as possible. Depending on availability and the booking terms, the session may be adjusted, transferred, or replaced with another suitable photography experience.
Are albums and wall art available?
Yes. Albums, prints, framed artwork, acrylic pieces, canvases, and other products may be available depending on the package.
Is the retainer refundable?
Retainers reserve your session date and are generally nonrefundable. Complete cancellation and rescheduling terms are included in the agreement.
How do I reserve my session?
Your session is officially reserved once the required agreement has been signed and the retainer has been received.

WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY

How far in advance should we book our wedding photographer?
We recommend booking as early as possible, especially for weekends, holidays, and popular wedding seasons. Many couples reserve their photographer several months to more than a year in advance.
How do we know how many hours of coverage we need?
The right amount of coverage depends on your timeline, locations, ceremony, reception, wedding party, planned traditions, and the moments you want documented. We can help you determine the appropriate coverage based on your plans.
What is included in wedding photography coverage?
Inclusions vary by collection. Wedding photography may include timeline guidance, ceremony and reception coverage, wedding-party portraits, family portraits, couple portraits, professionally edited digital images, an online gallery, albums, prints, or additional photographers.
Do you photograph both getting-ready locations?
Coverage at multiple getting-ready locations depends on the timeline, distance, selected package, and whether an additional photographer is included.
Do you offer engagement sessions?
Yes. Engagement sessions may be included in select wedding collections or added separately. They are a wonderful opportunity to become comfortable in front of the camera before the wedding day.
Do you help with the wedding timeline?
Yes. We can provide photography-related timeline guidance to help ensure there is enough time for important portraits and moments. The final event timeline should also be coordinated with your planner and other vendors.
Do you provide a second photographer?
A second photographer may be included in certain collections or added based on availability. Additional coverage can be helpful for larger weddings, multiple locations, simultaneous events, or more extensive guest coverage.
Will you photograph family portraits?
Yes. We recommend preparing a concise family portrait list before the wedding. A designated family member or planner can also help gather relatives efficiently.
What happens if the wedding runs late?
Additional coverage may be available at the hourly rate stated in your agreement, subject to photographer availability and approval.
Do you photograph destination weddings?
Destination and travel weddings may be available. Travel, lodging, transportation, parking, permits, and related expenses are quoted separately unless specifically included.
Are travel fees included?
Travel fees depend on the wedding location, distance, schedule, and selected collection. Parking, valet, tolls, permits, and lodging may be additional.
What happens if it rains?
Weddings continue regardless of weather, and we photograph the day as it unfolds. We recommend working with your venue or planner to create a weather backup plan for outdoor ceremonies and portraits.
How many photos will we receive?
You will receive all of the final edited images selected from your wedding coverage. Duplicate images, test shots, missed expressions, and technically unsuitable images are removed before delivery.
How long does it take to receive our wedding photos?
Turnaround time varies by season, wedding size, package, and album selections. An estimated delivery timeline will be provided in the agreement or booking information.
Will we receive sneak peeks?
Sneak peeks may be provided when available, but they are not guaranteed unless specifically included in your collection.
Can we print our own photos?
Digital galleries may include personal printing rights. Professional albums, enlargements, and wall art are also available for clients who want consistent color, quality, and presentation.
Do you offer wedding albums?
Yes. Wedding albums may be included in select collections or ordered separately. Album size, materials, page count, image selection, and revision policies vary.
Can our vendors use the photographs?
Vendor use requires permission and proper credit. Commercial use, advertising, publication, and third-party editing may require a separate agreement.
Do you carry backup equipment?
Professional photographers prepare for weddings with appropriate equipment and backup systems whenever possible. Specific equipment may vary based on the event.
Are you insured?
Proof of insurance may be provided to venues when required. Requests should be submitted with enough notice before the wedding.
What happens if the photographer has an emergency?
Emergency procedures and replacement provisions are addressed in the photography agreement. Every reasonable effort will be made to provide appropriate coverage.
Is the retainer refundable?
The retainer reserves the wedding date and is generally nonrefundable. Cancellation, postponement, and rescheduling terms are detailed in the agreement.
Can we reschedule or transfer our date?
Date changes are subject to availability and the terms of the agreement. Additional fees or updated pricing may apply.
When is the final payment due?
The payment schedule is outlined in the agreement. The remaining balance must be paid before the wedding according to the stated deadline.
How do we officially book?
Your wedding date is officially reserved after the agreement has been signed and the required retainer has been received. Inquiries, proposals, and verbal discussions do not reserve a date.
